Tape DIVISION has a sound that blends electric guitar/electric bass with vintage synthesizers and drum machines. This coupled with a Wurli 200a and fender Rhodes, gives Tape DIVISION’s sound a new meets old style. We aim for nostalgic sounds over MPC drum beats. Our synth arsenal includes a mini Moog model d, a memory Moog, a Roland Juno 60 and 106, a DSI Prophet VI, a Mellotron Mini, and more. Drums are done with an Akai MPC, a Linn Lm2 and a Linn 9000.

Tape DIVISION is a group of 3 from San Diego, California. Friends of Bill and Dr. John, we began making songs in our “garage studio”. Our full record is out by the end of 2025.
